Children 0-6 

Description: The Maria Montessori & Reggio Emilia Study Center takes children from as young as a few months up to 6 years old. Following the Montessori philosophy children are divided into groups from 0-1.5; 1.5-3 and 3-6. Children learn to take care of their environment and other children and learn in a play based approach. This school is located close to Kaohsiung Arena and has various trees and plants on site as well as small animals, such as turtles, fish, chicken and more. The children get invloved into daily activities taking care of the animals, watering plants and other chores that caputure their interest. Different activities are offered, including singing, dancing, reading books and various “work” that will build their fine motor skills and interlectual abilities. 

The school is Chinese speaking, but some teachers speak English too which makes communication easier if a parent can’t speak Chinese.
