EVENTS
To bring our community closer together we will organize events and activities on a regular basis for parents and their children of any age. The events and activities can vary from playdates, family gatherings for special seasonal occasions, such as Easter, Halloween, Christmas, workshops and conferences as well as excursions and day trips.
Acknowledgement of risk, injury & obligations
You thus acknowledge that all events and activities can be accompanied by certain risks and that by participating in the events
• You or your children might be exposed to injury, physically or mentally
• Your personal property may be damaged or lost
• Other people participating in these events may cause you injury or damage your property
• There may be no or inadequate facilities for treatment or transport in case of injury
• You or your child may cause injury to other people or damage their property
• The conditions in which events are conducted may vary without warning
You assume any risk and responsibility for any injury, illness, death or property damage resulting from your participation in any events caused by yourself, your children or others.
Release & Indemnity to FamBam Taiwan
In consideration of the acceptance of your participation in any event or activity, you agree to release and indemnify FamBam Taiwan (including events hosts, representatives, etc.) as
follows:
• You participate in the events and activities at your sole risk and responsibility
• You release, indemnify, and hold harmless FamBam Taiwan (including events hosts, representatives, etc.) from and against all and any actions or claims which may be
made by you, on your behalf or by third parties for or in respect of arising out of any injury, loss, damage, or death caused by you, your children, your property or others, whether by negligence or in any way whatsoever.
You also agree that in the event of injury, death or loss or damage caused to yourself or others, no claims, legal actions or otherwise, shall be made by you or on your behalf or by third parties against FamBam Taiwan (including events hosts, representatives, etc.) in respect of that injury, death, property loss or damage.
Filming and Photography
During FamBam Taiwan events we might take photos and videos for our website, social media outlets and our email distributions. We want to respect your privacy. If you have concerns about having photos of you or your children included in any of these outlets please let us know at the respective event and contact us at tanja@fambamtaiwan.com.
PAYMENTS
We might ask for a registration fee for some of our events. The payments must be done via our website, bank transfer or in cash upfront. The details will be specified with each event that involves a fee.
– For credit cards you authorize FamBam Taiwan to charge you for the registration fee stated for the event in question.

We are FamBam Taiwan and offer a space for families in Kaohsiung and beyond. The goal is for you to find relevant information about all things family and kids, as well as events and get together to meet other families in your area. We respect your privacy, but in order to provide you with information adapted to your needs and relevant events, we sometimes need your personal data. We may ask you to participate in market research at some point. We shall use your data for that market research. We use that statistic data anonymously for FamBam Taiwan. You can close the question list at any moment. We do not share your answers with others or make them publicly available. In addition, your answers are not connected to your e-mail address.
Newsletter
FamBam Taiwan sends out newsletters. In our newsletters we will inform you about new additions to our Website, events, partnerships, discounts and share more inspiration with you on what to do with kids in Kaohsiung and beyond. We use an opt-in system. Every time we send you a newsletter you have the possibility to unsubscribe from the newsletter.
Payments
To confirm your order, we need your name, e-mail address and payment details. We will register, save and process your details to process your order efficiently and correctly.
